O God, we give you thanks for filling our hearts with joy, our minds with hope, and for leading us along as an Easter people. Amen.

I enjoyed reading your blogs from this year...I also love the song "It is well with my soul" ...friends are indeed a blessing and I am glad to know you!
I was proud to read about Ron's efforts for FUMC and becoming "Green". I shared the info. with my Dad, pastor at Murfreesboro UMC in N.C.
Trevor and I spent this past week at my parents, so we got to enjoy an Easter Sunday at my dad's church. It was great that both of my sisters and brother-in-law could join us today. Trevor and I visited Williamsburg, V.A. yesterday and enjoyed a lovely stay at a Bed & Breakfast.
Your blogs are very interesting and informative...I look forward to reading more!! I will have to check out some of the links, books and movies you mention. Since Trevor and I are in the health field our jobs keep us away from church at times, so it is wonderful to have the newsletter (now online),church website, emails and blogs to keep in touch with our church family. We are very thankful to be a part of First UMC. God bless you!
